Nearly everyone who picks up a camera wants to take a great photograph that makes people say, “Wow! That’s incredible!” But alas, few people manage to get much more than, “That’s nice.”
Why? Perhaps it’s because not many people know what makes a photograph incredible.
Here is the three rule that you should always remeber
The camera’s viewfinder is the magical tools that allow us to finding the incredible picture, most of the people has take for granted that just a canvas of the picture, it’s not, camera viewfinder has it unique rule that affect the audience point-of view. Vice versa, it also magnifying the ugly side of your picture, if you didn’t compose it well.
A poorly exposed photograph will never make a great photograph. Even enhancing your photograph with software won’t give you an image that is as good as one that was correctly exposed to begin with. Spend time to master your camera’s exposure. It will be well worth your effort.
Great photograph has a strong focus (mean center of attention) of visual attention, no matter its evoke feeling, story telling, about life or even it art form. Focused visual impact make the audience know where to look at, what he/she should feel. A great photographer always know what is primary important and what is secondary. An nothing special beautiful sunrise or sunset, the visual attention is too weak, therefore, if its only draw the audience attention not more then 30sec, its not a great photograph.
Even though, there only three important point to make a great picture, but great photographer take more then 20 years to master it, cause it easy to know it but it is difficult to master it and build it within you.
